Try to mend a shattered heart

Her hair frames her face in tarnished-golden wringlets

barely going past her shoulders

her face, long, glowing with  elegance and grace

her eyes, an aqua blue so light in tint

you'd think they'd radiate wonder, sperit, happiness...

and at times they do

but at times, they don't...

at tines, when you look closely

yiu can see the pain within.

those eyes that used to resemble peacefull, bubbly creeks

you now see are stormy oceans

with hundred foot swells

battering and crashing into the lonely, lost ship

that is her broken heart.

god, I love her so much.

her flawless beauty brightens my every day

i try to calm the storm

but I fear I'm too late

the damage has been done

And I can do is try

and maybe one day

the sun will come back out
