Trying

I'm trying not to do anything that would upset you I'm trying to hold my ground I'm trying to be okay with the situation Even when everything's going down I'm trying to stay strong Trying not to cry Because that makes you angry To see the dissapointment In my eyes I'm trying to stay happy Trying to stay alive But it's so hard When you have to learn to say goodbye I'm trying to shun the silence I'm trying to hold it in Trying to make it go away So I don't commit a sin Trying is a strong word That's hard for me to understand Because the little things that push me Push trying off the edge

Kinley Baker

I am really into Poetry and I love to write. I am currently going to Central Michigan University to become an Educator with a Major in English and a Minor in Biology and American Sign Language. I hope to someday be a published author and to be able to spread my passion for writing and creativity to others. :3
