TRYING TO BE GOOD
As the morning sun dances across my skin
Shining through my skin to my heart that won’t avoid a race
I got to say time didn’t judge my existence
And Evil won’t define me cause am in the race
So, taking a step is the only truth
And going beneath my existence is deniable to an extreme of fourth
Even though am covered by the night
But my life’s purpose won’t be defined by any danger
Just trying to be good will conceive self-love
And in the end, it’s me and I, I was just trying to save
