TRYING TO BE HEARD

I’m not fighting 

I’m trying I’m just trying to be heard

You’re not listening 

You think my thoughts are absurd 

I’m not arguing I’m trying to be heard

Your disagreeing because you claim,

I’m not honest in my words 

I’m now shouting 

frustrated I’m not heard. 

You’re just sitting there

without a care in the world 

Never will you admit 

You heard every bit 

So I see, I’m wasting time here

with you and me 

Frustrated and berated

Judged incorrectly daily 

Never changing 

In its entity 

Finally, I see 

You’re never going to hear me 

No relationship to have or mend

Our time together has come to an end.
