Trying to Live Without You
Everything has changed
But one thing still remains
And that is my love for you
Something that you helped me see through
The pores of my skin still crave the fulfillment of joy, and warmth you gave them
All those times you made me feel like your gem
My hair can still feel the gentle swift of your hand
Through each and every strand
Your eyes, like little green caramel apples
Always making me want samples
My hand can feel your silly wiggling one holding mine tight
As if you were trying to make me laugh, and feel right
Our hearts will never handle the same love but...
Your ears repeatedly hear me say the same thing..
I want to be your everything
