Trying to Stand
I find myself constantly fighting
Fighting for survival
Fighting to eat, sleep and breath
Fighting the mental and physical pain
To be awarded with my mind at ease
Constantly, I drag this weight around with me
Desperately searching for the lock to insert the key
However, I remain in this state-of-mind
Remain to feel unwanted
Remain to feel worthless
Remain to fight for what seems likes nothing
It's as if my fighting is steadily falling into rejection
Repeatedly, I struggle to stand
Silly me
Why do I believe my crawling will summon a reaction?
