Trying To Stay Positive In Hell

Picking through an ocean of Sharks hiding behind harlequin painted masks

With Cheshire smiles and chromatic flashing eyes

Advertising their lairs and submerged dungeons

These trials and tribulations must be endured.

Shaking hands big enough to swallow me

The way everyone else can get swept up in the current

When I'm too afraid to dip my toe in

The sea is too thick and red to be water

The water is saltier than it should be
