Tu me manques

I dreamt you missed me,

Could this be true?

It was so in my dream of you.

If dreams know only how to lie

I would not be a little sad.

Tell me dear if ere you had

A moment when I cross your mind.

How oft you seem to be on mine

Our souls it seems did intertwine.

I dreamt you kissed me;

If dreams be true

I loved you long before we knew.

Kiss me once again and soon.

My dream occurred so long ago.

Tonight approaches much too slow.

This fact alone is all I know: though

You are missing from me

A dream is all you’ll ever be.
