The Tuesday Blues

It was warm.

Inside the prince's arms, it was so hot,

I couldn't keep you off.
You were gone,
Before I could say don't go, and I'm standing so damn cold.
I must've missed the times
When you had me on your mind
Because now you seem wrapped up with everybody else
I couldn't stand and wait,
To see if I could mold fate,
And now I'm alone and I don't know what to do.
I can't seem to walk right in these shoes
I've got the Tuesday blues

Tuesday, it sneaks up, and bites you in the end,
Whether you are married or you're not quite friends
Tuesday, it hides within the other days
But once it latches on, you can't shake it away.
I'm stuck in a race that I always lose
I've got the Tuesday blues
I'm bitter, but it's nothing new
Don't you have the Tuesday blues?

It's December
I think I know you well, do you remember
The day when we first fell?
The world seemed so bright that day
I swear to you that won't change
As long as you are mine.
It is warm, inside the king's arms.
I'm bitter, but it's nothing new
I've over the Tuesday blues.
