Tuesday Terror
September 11th, 2001
Under an in-suspecting sun
Someone is trying to take us out
Under attack Americans shout
This sight I thought I'd never see
Terror crashing, on the brave & free
I thought I'd never have to cry
Because of hatred from the sky
Such cowardly acts by someone un-seen
Killing my fellow human beings
Thinking they could bring to a cease
A country 'true' with love & peace
The day is Tuesday - I color it black.
But we stand united, we will bounce back.
We trust in God, our spirit is strong
We'll see that our flag waves every dawn
