Tulip
My tulip grew in dirt
I hadn't turned over yet.
I did the best I could.
I should have fed it less
but I needed it to grow.
One of my flowers will bloom.
If it needs me to cut open and give it my everything,
then I'll do that.
My tulip grew litte.
It shrunk away from me.
Yet provide I did.
I cut and cut
and cut again.
I drowned it in my love.
But tulips don't grow in blood.
I guess I don't want what does.
