A Tumble Away From Destruction

Shut it down

It’s easier that way

Hide behind the plastered smile

And over-powdered face

They’ll never know

Will they?

Eyes on you

All eyes on you

One slip and down the mountain you will tumble

Down

And down

And down

Like Me!

I scream

Though I don’t think anyone heard

Or maybe they just weren’t paying attention

Is there a difference?

Why is there mountain?

Why am I spending my time climbing when I could be doing anything else?

Life is short

We are small meaningless specs in a cosmos of confusion

I prefer to spend my time at the bottom
