Tumbling down

The Berlin Wall, Germany, was a physical boundary It separated Berlin East from West It came between communism and capitalism, a quandary. The demise of it was for the best. In the East the freedoms were restricted, People paranoid and manipulated. In the West a miracle they depicted, economy thrived, their freedoms stipulated. Of course people left the East to be more free So a wall was built of pillars and barbed wire manned towers, an inner wall and electricity. The people in the East depressed, so dire. In 1980 people congregated to chip away. Germany was reunited in October 1990 to celebrate What a fantastic monumental collapse came that day. Now both ways the folks can emigrate. To us in the US it symbolized the fall of communism in Europe, quite a relief. This movement forever changed the world brawl allowing democracy more open reign was the belief.
