Tumor

It started as one and then grew up inside my like a child

It went on to have a kid, that kid moved out

It moved up the road into a valley at the neck

These things bellowed inside of me

They were fine at first, but then they grew too big

They began to take my food and my energy because they needed to grow

I cared for them like I would a child

And like a child they shaped me into a different human being

Their names were tumor one and tumor two

They put me through hell, but I came back again

They were the best and worst thing that ever happened to me

I wanted to say “thank you”

Thank you for not killing me

Thank you for teaching me what life is really about

Thank you for making me meet my best friend

Thank you showing me who my friends really were

Thank you for making me grow up

Thank you for humbling me

Thank you for leaving me

Goodbye tumor one and two

You will forever be apart of my life even though you are no longer with us

Goodbye cancer, thank you for all you have done
