Tumultuous passing
Quickly rolling in,
Blankets of darkness,
Diffuse over the world.
Angels are crying.
Painfully causing bruises;
Where there’s not
Ones already made.
Bomb!
You see the sparks;
Bomb!
Sparks again.
Gun shots slowly fading,
But the powder still seen.
Trees are falling;
One by one,
Two by two,
Three by three.
Mudslides and floods;
Shaking wooden floors,
Crashing humble homes,
Ruining precious lawns.
Taking over;
Ruling the seas,
Ruling the land,
Ruling the sky!
Sailors bring in sails;
Waves crash along rocks;
Boats battling,
Trying to stay afloat.
Your thirsting!
Your starving!
More destruction!
More destruction!
But
Tiredness overrides,
Mother says time for bed.
Clouds dissipate as
Light starts shining,
Birds singing,
Trees drinking,
Wet sands trade
With dry sand.
Calm morning sun
Revives all that has died.
Calm morning wind
Repairs all that was lost.
Calm morning warmth
Reassures all that survived.
Sailors no longer worrying;
Boats bobbing;
Waves calming;
Houses relaxing;
Floors rebuilding;
Trees unwinding;
Lawns unfolding;
Angels rejoicing.
The toughest,
Always pass.
