The Tunnel

I gaze upon a pile of rocks, It has been my third year lost. Every Ten months I see my friends stumble As we dash for the light. Cringing to the amount remaining, We must move on. As alphas We lead the pack. We stand united as one, But the weak are vanished. Dashing for the light, We see many tremble of uneasiness. Journeys discontinue one-by-one. As progression continues it is unanticipated That our anonymous colleagues have left. We were absolutely unsure of what has happened. We must continue avoiding distractions And like The Shanghai Maglev Train, we dash for the light. One day, We will reach the light. That day will come, But only a few will prevail. We will be tried, and tense, and victorious! But those years inside will toughen us up. We will be sleep deprived, and drained! But those years inside will strengthen us. We are fanatics of a challenge and as triumph fills our blood stream We flourish in a world I call, life.
