A Tunnel Vision

Its dusk in here, but fervent out there?

I hear sweet echos in the distance

And just like that, I can feel it;

time

I feel it—dragging on by slowly

But in here I’ll wait.

I wait and wait

and wait

and I hope,

That someday, one day I will see the zing.

One would think the gloom and worry would situate within here

But for those who postulate, you are certainly incorrect

It is doubt

and it is resentment which resides,

In the darkness;

consuming our world around us.

But there I do see it straight ahead,

the light; of very few others invades

Revealing the Tracks, long and distant but,

There.

And one day someday before time passes forever more,

I will know and see the vim and,

I will shed divers of light for you,

Hearty visionary travelers.
