The Turn

seeing a bend in the road

does not always mean

you should make a turn

because it could be the wrong one

it might be the one leading to the

fires of hell

where you will eternally burn

you have heard people saying

“do not always follow where the path you may lead”

but what if the straight path

is the one that will make you succeed

because sometimes walking straight

and keeping the focus

shows that you are a dreamer

one who knows what they want

maybe you have a seed in your hand

and that straight path is leading you

to the garden of  Eden where you will dig

a hole and plant

and it will someday produce a strong root

one that will manifest into

a tree and bear for you good fruit foro your harvest

so this lesson we should all learn

that sometimes you don’t have to take that turn

because some took it and painfully fell

some never made it

but some shook the dust and lived to tell

You see!

Sometimes you don’t have to take that turn

But if you’re brave enough

Please take it

at your own risk

Unfortunately

you might not make it

And you might not shake

the dust and live to tell
