Turning Point

NOTE: this was originally written August of last year.

The year is coming to a a close within the next four months.

I am still lost and nervous about my future especially at the age of "25"

No more games and fooling around. My childish ways is slowly fading as the days and nights before my eyes.

My perspective about life is changing hopefully for the better.

People once near and dear to me is leaving my side.

What more can a woman ask for?

"Stay Strong Talaya" is all I have been hearing. They all ran out of suggestions for me.

We all go through something in our lives at a certain point because we are suppose to learn from our mistakes and the decisions we make but for how long?

I am starting to believe this  is all bullshit. The ones who are willing to get on their two feet to make a living, are the ones who have to struggle the most. Why?

I ask all of these questions I know the answers to but it seems hard to believe.

All I want is the best for myself.

Is that so hard to ask?

Onyxbliss

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York on a winter morning in January the 15th. Once a baby known for her colic of hell has grown into an inspiring young African American woman. She is a poetic metal head who is currently aiming high as an Early Childhood major. Her success so far is nowhere near over just yet. Her words flow with ease like a Summer's breeze. Don't be afraid to enter the mind of Onyx Bliss, also known as Talaya. You may be amazed or afraid or even worse offended but keep in mind nobody has time for any ignorance you may spread. She is not here to impress but to express to relieve some stress off her mind. Most of her words may not rhyme but guaranteed she will remain strong as her dream of becoming a poet will soon hope to come true.
