Turtles

People are like turtles they hide in their shell,

Thoughts in their mind can put them through hell.

Turtles live parts of life down in the deep,

If people let out their feelings, happiness they reap.

Turtles don’t walk backwards, they continue on,

If people don’t regret, their worries are gone.

Turtles slow down and pace their lives,

People just worry about wealth, not how to survive.

Many lessons can be learned from turtles,

Lessons on life to help fight over its hurdles.
