Turtles, Monkeys, Penguins

Turtles, monkeys, penguins

Running from their homes

Danger consuming their very homes

Plastic

Bags, cups, and straws expanding over the ocean

Carbon emissions ripping holes in our life force

Yet we sit and watch, hoping for someone else to make the change

Thinking changes will come soon but we know they won't

Not unless we actually start to make that change

Imagine:

Turtles swimming in clean water

Monkeys haing a tree to sleep in

Penguins having ice to slide on.

Using glass or metal in place of plastic

Using reusable bags at the grocery store

Or returning your empty soda bottle to the company rather than throwing it away

Small changes will make the biggest difference

But one person cannot do it alone
