TV Before Bed


I had to watch tv tonight

Before the darkness swallowed me

To greet a face I almost know

In hopes that it would follow me

 

Memories of things not done

Are the lullabies my mind sings

To relax me into arms unseen

 And ease the fear that darkness brings
