IN THE TWILIGHT
In The Twilight
We have lost even the twilight that run's
Deep within us ,
Now I must ask ! Is there an us , Did we let it all end ?
No one saw us this evening hand in hand
While the blue night dropped on the world.
Then you cut me deep when you told me you must go ,
If there is pain that I gave please let it go ,
Let it run away with the night were it belongs ,
Let us not end like this ,
It will be you I will miss .
I have seen from my window in a dream that comes back at me ,
What could I had done to put my love on the run !
Sometimes a piece of sun burned like a coin in my hand.
My hand the one you once held .
I remembered you with my soul clenched
In that sadness of mine that you know.
But to know you are the one I want to hold in my heart for life ,
Together in one heart our love could never fall .
Where were you then?
Who else was there?
Saying what?
I shall hold you wherever you are ,
I will give breath again to your deaden heart .
Why will the whole of love come on me suddenly
When I am sad and feel you are far away?
Why did you go and leave me so alone ,
I needed you to love me ?
The book of love fell right at my feet at twilight
A cold night when you left me ,
Always, always you recede through the evenings
toward the twilight erasing statues.
Just know this love I hold will always be to you my love
My life was lived through like falling rain ever sent you
Left my heart in the twilight of a lovers spat .
