Twin Flame

A day marked certainly somber

A sullen day where you did indeed suddenly part

The sky turned and wept plump tears of grey,

and I heard my soul weep.

But know this.

For you my dear

I'd wade in youth's fountain

as long as it may take

to preserve my heart

for a thousand years one thousand wishes spent

all on your return in hopes  that you remember

the dance we used to do

I'd wait those thousand years to dance again

with you.

I refuse any soul except that which was lost...
