Twinkle, Sparkle, Glow

Twinkle Twinkle little star
I do not know where you are
All I see is an expanse of black
And I wish all my stars would come back.

Twinkle Twinkle little star
I want to touch you but you're too far
Fall down, out of the sky for me
And give me light with which to see.

Sparkle Sparkle little light
The world is rough you have to fight
The round has started, ring that bell
Tiny light don't give up, don't dispel.

Sparkle Sparkle little light
You're unnatural, super bright
Shine on a place unknown, covered in ice
Take your chances there, roll the dice.

Glowing Glowing source unknown
A new hope to me you've shown
I'll start out life, start it anew
Turn my skies from gray to blue.

I am a 17 year old poet/ short story writer. I love writing poetry and it usually turns out dark. Poetry is my release of stress. I also have an allpoetry.com account; http://allpoetry.com/A_Whimsical_Reverie
