Twirls
Our meeting's been forgotten by us both
Though memory's gone, our friendship's never faded
With time, our bond grows stronger with an oath -
Good quips and quotes and laughs should all be traded
I won't force you to tell me what you know
Put down demands the creatures make of you
We'll both hold mute, together we won't bow
With grades still tied, we'll start a life anew
I'll stay awake, you mustn't ever plead
Though you are strong, fear is an epic fight
A gentle prod is all the nod I need
Together we'll console away the night
We'll howl at the moon, and not a star
Because I love you just the way you are
