Twisted Love
what a beautiful thing it is to have loved
but to have lost it in time so fleeting
unimaginable pain and joy it brings
where two lover's hearts may still be beating
in a meadow of sadness they withdrew
but together they are in thought
locked in a dance of rhythmic time
remembering what they were not
the future holds the paths of love
if it shatters or stays true
weaved throughout time a tale told
of a love they hoped carried through
