Twisted Lullaby

Hush my little baby
Don't you cry,
Just listen to your momma's
Twisted lullaby.
The bottles on the floor
Will triple in your days,
And everytime you scream
We'll just put you through the haze.
But don't worry little baby
We won't forget you're there,
We'll just beat you till you're blue,
And neglect you till you're scared.
You will learn how harsh this life is
By the time that you are three.
You will punish yourself daily
Cuz' of daddy and me.
All the kids at your school
Will be mean and call you names,
All because you're weak
And you're the only one to blame.
And everytime you die
I will bring you back to life,
So that I can say I'm sorry
And then attack you with a knife.
Later in your teen years
You will look for a way out,
But as soon as you are out our door
Your down and no one hears you shout.
We scraped you off the road
You were barely alive,
But all you wanted now
Was for us to let you die.
We punished you for selfishness
And threw you in the dark.
Finally you decided
It was time to leave your mark.
So imagine my surprise
When I found you by the shelves,
Smiling from the rope you used to hang yourself.
