Two

I rip my soul to write,

So in the lines I’ll seep

All for minds insight

of all the world to keep.

I plead to you please,

Give heed to these lines,

And all my meaning seize,

From the wordy confines.

I know to be a better man,

Will tear me heart to mind,

But in time I think I can,

As in a paper I’ll bind.

Emotion stains my meaning

I had an idea of me,

Now to where I am leaning

No longer can I see

Logic or emotion,

Do they coincide?

A confusing devotion

In these lines will collide.

No hold barred

and break the gates

my soul safeguard,

As the poem abates.
