Two Blind Men

A blind man sits

on the sidewalk,

cup begging spare change.

Spare change, sir?

A blind man walks

past the cup.

He is not my kin,

he is not my problem.

Do you not see

your brother?

I see my brother walk past me

says the man blind of eye.

Do you not see

your brother?

I see no brother here

says the man blind of heart.
