Two-Faced

Always sweet and nice,

I am cotton candy.

Sugary and colorful

In my own world.

Soft and fluffy

To loved ones.

But if events take turns,

My mind is black licorice.

Feeling all so

Mushy and twisted.

Tendencies to feel

Angry and sad.

But knowing this trigger,

It is that difficult

To maintain and

Learn to love myself.

Knowing my reality,

It will possibly be gone.

I may be two-faced but

I know right and wrong.
