Two Halves of a Broken Soul

The wind blows slashing at my wounded heart

The blood leaks slow and steady through my sleeve

The heart should have been hidden from the start

The pounding of my heart wants only to grieve

My soul cries

My face remains silent

My eyes see you beaming without doubt

My body shakes and shimmers with violence

You welcome me

You heal my shattered soul

I welcome you

I heal your shattered soul

I cant imagine my life without you

I can see the darkness in your eyes

Can our love be true?

You see my darkness underneath my guise

We hold on to each other for dear life

We both cry out

We are drownng as we are hurt by the same knife

We hold hands and begin walking on our new route
