Two Hands, Two Feet

Location

Two arms, two legs, two hands, two feet,

A head and a heart and now I’m complete.

Learning and living each day to the fullest,

Buried with what makes each day the hardest.

Between misery and distress,

My head hangs heavy with regress.

Upon happiness I wish to render,

There is a whole new life ahead of me I have yet to enter.

An athlete, a student, a sister, a daughter,

Molded by my family as my number one supporter.

Similar in so many ways,

Devoting my success solely to how I was raised.

Put on this earth merely by chance,

Nothing extraordinary at first glance.

Me, myself and I,

Given expectations so high.

Yearning to achieve greatness,

Lost; is where I would be without forgiveness.

For my mistakes have led me to prosperity,

Granting my existence with serenity.

Creating a purpose for my being,

I dedicate my gratitude to those for believing.
