Two Hearts

I see you and you see me.

In light and honesty.

We love because the world needs that light,

even when things get dark and we fight.

The day still moves on and love comes out.

The best thing about it is the look I get from you when you say you love me

My heart beats, and beats, and beats

faster and faster till I feel my face heat.

It’s not about all the good time we have,

But about the bad and how we move together

As if we are one dancing against the world.

Two hearts conquering all.
