Two Lost Souls

I once wanted love but tried to find it in the wrong way

Smiling but not knowing that I was lost in a place that we call the world today.

Everybody around surrounded me seemed so far away

If they'd sneeze I'd give a shiver because I was scared that they'd see me and go the other way

I mean my heart was full of pain only because  I lost someone close to me someone that once called me

his bae I gave that dude my all but I guess my insecurities seemed to get in the way.

Being a heavy set girl who didn't have a figure like those other girls, you know the girls with the

the long hair that always wore them in fluffy curls

Yeah those girls the girls that never seemed to know their place

I remember going on my first date moms was happy but I was scared to even open my mouth and show

him  those ugly teeth that people talked about when I ate.

Now that I have braces the same dudes that laughed at me I can't seem to get them out my face.

I remember going to school and telling my so called friends about my date and I remember them laughing

almost as if they were suprised that any dude would stoop that low and even acknowledge me as his bae

I was so excited that I couldn't find the words to describe how amazing it was for someone to look at me

in my eyes and say I LOVE YOU BAE

\Wanting to cry but somehow I managed to put those excitingly tears away and place them in a place in my.

heart that I call my brief case

A brief case that hardly ever got those types of  tears in it the only tears that was placed in it was tears

 that was from him.

One thing lead to another and we finally broke up

I couldn't stop crying and couldn't even eat I just wanted him to love me love me for me.

Praying was my only exit

My only exit that made me feel

Walking in the in the bathroom with my head hung low

I wanted my life and my tears to go ,go with the wind just by a simple blow

But baby when I tell you this Big Black Beautiful woman don't ever wonna look back why look back

when Gods taking me on a journey that will forever last so  sit back  my haters and keep waiting on me

to fail because I may be fat but  I'll be the fattest black sister in college making that cash while you still

waititng waiting on me to fail.

So to all my sisters that has lost all sekf confidence pick that head up and strive to be a a  believer because

I was once lost in a plave that we call the world today and look im happy and beautiful even without a bae.
