The Two Mayors

See the sneering of the mayor,
I think he's angry at the most valuable player.

He finds it hard to see the fly,
Overshadowed by the dark high.

Who is that bouncing near the salt?
I think she'd like to eat the kuralt.

She is but a major mayor,
Admired as she sits upon a baseball player.

Her smart car is just a chimpanzee,
It needs no gas, it runs on northern dune tansy.

She's not alone she brings a rat,
a pet platypus, and lots of habitat.

The platypus likes to chase a ghost,
Especially one that's in the glasnost.

The mayor shudders at the live bear
He want to leave but she wants the software.
