Two Parts One Person

Two halves of one part

I stem from a lion

not the other way around

possessing a keen ability to silence a room

without making a sound

I can shake the ground

this I've known from the start

since the dawn of my beginning

it has dwelled within my heart

and its for this reason I'm striving

to become something more

relinquishing my flesh

it's time for me to roar

despite what people perceive

when I look into the mirror

I know what flows inside of me

a spirit with the potential for greatness

dismissing those who may oppose or even try to break this

realize now you can't shake this

what has already begun

a supernatural man who will make your mode of thinking come undone

and although I may be shun

along the way

I know there are lives I'm destined to touch in a miraculous way

so please, mistake me for a fool

or make me out to be the court jester

when you turn your back on what you thought was nothing

you'll realize that you were the lessor

now making you a confessor

of a young man that you thought to be blind

when in reality it was he who was able to see clearly the whole time

haters will think themselves so sublime

believing me oblivious to there obvious crimes

thus making them look more asinine

but like I said

one day they will realize their part

and understand that they were dealing with a rather patient lion

who was given a kind heart

awaiting the day his king opens the cage and takes the chains apart

now that you've been given a head start

let's hope your prepared for something truly...state of the art.

The passing of knowledge and wisdom is keen to our future, so why not make acquiring this knowledge a bit more interesting. I share what comes to mind although it may not make sense all of the time, all in hopes you learn from me. Maybe you'll understand something I couldn't see. So please enjoy what I write and maybe, just maybe, you'll learn something new that could broaden even your world view.
