Two People

I have two people inside of me, one is sweet, one is mean. One giggles, and she flaunts, other one sneers, and she taunts. One brings me up, the other tears me down, one wears a smile, the other, a frown. When those girls point and sneer, one has my back, the other jeers. She snarls in my ear, you aint pretty or cool, you're like a babe, who sits and drools. People hang around 'cuz they feel sorry for you, if I was them I’d do charity too. As soon as she's done and the pain ain't gone, here comes the other one. She pats my back, smiles my way, tells me not to listen to what she says. I’m my own person, as pretty as can be, inside and out and that people see. Im crazy smart, and that’s how I should stay, so I can help people, who feel the same way. The mean person is slowly fading, I won’t listen to it, so it aint staying. Soon, it will be gone and try to torment someone knew, I really hope that person aint you.
