Two People

The ring sits on the stand

Next to the empty bed

She left without a note

Without a call.

What did he do so wrong

That she left him after this long

The two perfect people

Now broken hearted

The love that once was will never be restarted

The rum bottle on the table

Is completly empty

As he lays on the floor

Not moving a steady beat.

When she gets to the hospital

She drops to her knees

She knows she made the biggest mistake

the one she loves will never be.
