Two Sisters

A long time ago

Longer than anyone would know

There were two sisters who fought to the death

Over a man they both had just met

One was born from a single drop of sunlight

While the other was crafted from the most darknest dreadful night

As they fought over day and the weeks into years

Soon after all the screams of hatered there was nothing but tears

It was not that the light had won

But lost something she truly loved and could never be undone

The blank night no longer held stars

As for the light- her beauty turned to nothing but wrinkles and scars

The darkness was loved by many from the moment she was born to the very end

The light, however, had always held real darkness inside of her- which caused her never to love again
