Two Steps Back

We shall overcome one day,

Are the words that the leaders use to say,

God Let us have justice is what they'd pray,

Please let the pain and suffering go away.

Now the people recite those words no longer,

We are becoming frail instead of becoming stronger,

I sit in confusion as I begin to ponder,

We should follow the path of the leaders,

But we want to dishonor.

I just discussed the present and the past,

No long outcasts. We want to be at the top of the caste,

The time is now,

It's up to us to make this last.
