Two tone poem

Dual: I am not one,

but I am two.

What does that mean?

and who are you?

My name is Amber,

a pure chroma color,

halfway between

yellow

and orange,

and red

unlike another.

Do you see me?

On certain days I'm vibrant berry -

bright,

but still opaque,

and deep,

like a loud rouge behind silent lips,

begging for you to ask more about

me.

Other times I'm calm grey -

achromatic and neutral,

floating, by

like a fall leaf,

in the crisp cool breeze.
