Two Way Devotion

Deep in my heart,

Deep in my soul,

It's how I was raised,

It's what I was told.

Although, in the beginning,

I didn't believe,

Now He's the only thing,

That my life needs.

Without a doubt,

I can't live without,

The one who saved me,

And the future He gave me.

He's the Trinity,

The Three in One,

The one whom I pay to,

When the days done.

With feet of burnished bronze,

And eyes that shine like fire,

It's my Lord Jesus,

Who's my only desire.

It's because of him,

That I can thrive,

He sacrificed Himself,

To save many lives.

And in return,

All that He asks,

Is for us to believe,

He accomplished his task.

For you see, Jesus came,

To die on the cross,

To forgive us our sins,

So we wouldn't be lost.

Now because of Him,

We shall freey roam,

In eternity,

In our new home.

With gates of pearls,

And streets of gold,

There we shall live

As it is foretold.

So, now you see,

The one whom I live for

 I cannot live without,

He is my everything,

Without a doubt.

It's who I am,

It's what I believe,

Without Jesus Christ,

Nothing I can achieve.
