Two Worlds

Where do you fit in? In the world of the future, Or the world of the past? You try to be the adult The person you want to become But the child in you Pulls you back to what you used to be Why can’t you find yourself? What happened to things being simple And not complex Some perceive you as the role model Others perceive you as the child One needing to be guided Rather than being an equal What is your perception? Which world do you belong to?
