Two years
Oh, how i wish you liked me back
Its already been two years
Of me watching and waiting for you to make a move
I've cried so many tears.
Am i invisible to you
Am i am shadow
Something you don't even care about
I feel like a nobody
I know you'll never see me
For what I really feel deep down
You see me as a stranger
A random girl whose hair is dark brown.

▾ This Poem's Voice
Your Poem's Voice
Deeply personal, autobiographical unrequited love experience with minimal abstraction
Multiple distinct ideas: longing, invisibility, crying, stranger perception compressed densely
Strongly negative: despair, rejection, worthlessness, tears dominate emotional landscape
Restrained, introspective voice with emotional intensity but quiet, melancholic delivery
Approximately 12 lines; falls in 7-15 line range
Shadow simile and shadow personification present; mostly declarative statements otherwise
Pure lyric internal monologue; first-person emotional confession with no narrative or dramatic shift
