Two Years

Two years came and went,

Two years together well spent.

To think of all the time we shared,

Sharing the love we fared.

There’s not a me without you I know,

Not since those years ago.

We may have never been perfect,

But those two years were worth it.

I guess the question still remains,

Is this a hurting I can contain?

The time crawls ever so slowly,

Hard to believe we aren’t so wholly.

Whatever tomorrow may hold,

I pray you stay bold.

When it’s all said and done,

I hope you’ll see the rising sun.

Two years etched in history,

Tomorrow still a mystery.

In any story you choose to tell,

Please just remember me well.
