Two Years Gone

When I stopped showing up

did you ever ask yourself why?

Or did you just fill up your cup

with another lie?

It was hard at first,

not seeing your face everyday,

but it was even harder not hearing

that everything was going to be okay.

It's been two years now,

still no word from you.

I will repeat, two years now

Not hearing back 'I love you too'
