T.W.S.G.L By Asia Thomas

T.W.S.G.L

By

Asia Thomas

To win someone’s gotta lose

Whether it be an award, money or a boo

They’re trademark is a knife shaped bruise

It cuts deep when you let it penetrate

But not you

Your love was a paramedic

Emt, first responder, fire rescue too

In a crowd full of pleasers

I chose you

Unfortunately

To win someone’s gotta lose

You played a game of hardball

With my love

Now I go looking for the clues

Was she pretty, thick, and kind

Is that your type?

Save it, I don’t mind

I left you for myself

And I’m loving harder than ever

To win someone’s gotta lose, i’m glad it was you
