Type 1 Diabetes

I never really knew how big of a change it would be. It was all so new to me. With no doubt, it's hard staying on track, but you definitely can't slack. So many problems and complications, It really does take some patience. Exercise and nutrition is the key, so only I can take care of me. Diabetes will be there no matter what. It makes me go crazy like a nut! I can't forget to take my insulin, oh boy have I learned discipline. I used to think it isn't fair, but people really do care. All I have left to do is pray because i know it isn't going away. Diabetes has come upon me, and that's the way it was meant to be.

Good for your for keeping a positive attitude through your hardships. This sends a great message for anyone who feels like a medical condition will change everything. Some of my family members have had type 2 diabetes but if I stay healthy I should be okay as will you.
