A Typical Beach Day
I walk to the beach where I am surrounded with nothing but the warm sand. I lay on its warmness and find myself relaxed by the sounds of the waves. My eyes are closed and I hear the waves crashing and smoothly departing away. The sun is blazing bright, right through my tilted sunglasses. Birds are flying and crying on the search to steal some food. Dogs are on their daily exercise running like the speed of lightning. Towards the water, sandcastles are being built, but eventually being washed away. I run to feel the cold ocean touch my feet and splashes of water are everywhere. I taste the saltiness of the ocean water as it reaches onto my lips. Deeper in the ocean, the waves are roaring to me. I take a look back and see that the sun is ready to leave and the moon is ready to enter. I find myself thinking what a day to be alive, where I can witness nature all around me. Turning away, I leave the beach filled with a sense of satisfaction. This was a perfect day, a peaceful place, where you can’t wait to come again.
